Dr. Richard Poupard was born and raised in Michigan, and knew from a young age he wanted to pursue a career in Dentistry. Dr. Poupard earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1993 from Northwestern University Dental School where he received the American Association or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award and the Compendium Award for Dental Research. He completed his four-year Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital in 1997.
Dr. Poupard has been providing exceptional oral surgery care to the Mid Michigan community for more than 25 years. With his extensive experience he stays at the forefront of advancements with a special interest in dental implant technology, including full mouth restoration via All-on-4 dental implant treatment .
Dr. Poupard is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and is a member of many other professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Michigan Dental Association (MDA).
Dr. Poupard resides in Midland and in his spare time enjoys traveling, running, golfing, and spending time with his wife, Deb and five children.
